Arcantus - Ensemble für alte Musik

TYPO3 relaunch for Arcantus, the Vienna-based early-music vocal ensemble led by Ingrun Fussenegger — with SEO basics and design by Susanne Auer.

back to overview

Renaissance vocal music asks for a website that mirrors the music itself: quiet, focused, with room for programmes, concert dates and listening samples. Arcantus, the Vienna early-music ensemble founded in 2005 and directed by Ingrun Fussenegger, came to us for exactly that kind of stage. The repertoire spans Ockeghem, Isaac, Senfl and Desprez — 15th- and 16th-century vocal polyphony that deserves a clear, well-curated digital home. Before the relaunch the site lacked that stage: no proper concert listing, no central editing workflow, no consistent face for promoters, audiences and festival programmers.

  • TYPO3 website relaunch with an editor-friendly backend for dates, programmes and press texts
  • Basic SEO package: clean information architecture, meta data, indexability for festival research
  • Repertoire listing with composers, works and programme context at a glance
  • Concert overview showing date, venue and programme reference
  • Ensemble and artistic-direction section with biographies
  • Contact and booking area aimed at venues and promoters
  • Design by Susanne Auer: typographically reduced, fitting the early-music idiom

The outcome is a calling card that matches the ensemble's sound: lean, readable, free of noise. Promoters find repertoire and dates without detours, and Arcantus maintains its own content. The platform built with rockit grows with the concert calendar and keeps the artistic profile visible — from a programmer's first search to a concrete booking request.
