Kosmetik Amalienbad is a small beauty salon tucked into the listed Art Nouveau Amalienbad building in Vienna's 10th district. Brigitte has run the studio since 1992; Regina has been on the team since 2009. For a two-person neighbourhood salon, a heavyweight booking platform would be overkill — the website just needs to introduce the people, name the treatments, and nudge regulars and newcomers toward picking up the phone for an appointment. Anything more would be in the way.
- TYPO3 as the CMS so Brigitte can update texts and photos without calling a developer
- Clear sitemap: studio, treatments, how to get there, contact — no hidden submenus
- Photography that uses the salon's Jugendstil setting as the obvious selling point it is
- Search-engine-friendly markup so queries like "beautician 1100 Vienna" or "Kosmetik Amalienbad" land cleanly
- Phone number kept front and centre, because that is how appointments are actually booked
- Creative split: design by Susanne Auer, CMS build and technical work on our side
- A small hosting footprint, sized to match the business
The result is a calling card on the web that needs almost no maintenance yet still routes the right people to the right phone at the right time. The TYPO3 site delivered with rockit shows that a small district salon can look online the way it feels in person — quiet, tidy, welcoming.
