LOFT8 is a contemporary art gallery from Vienna that ran a dense programme of curated exhibitions, mixed-media positions and editions out of its space on Radetzkystraße in the 3rd district. For a gallery, the website is not a side project — it is shop window, archive and sales floor in one. International collectors usually see the work online long before they ever set foot in Vienna. That is exactly what we built for LOFT8 during its TYPO3 years: one platform that carried the exhibition programme and the sale of individual works side by side.

The TYPO3 website built with rockit carried the LOFT8 gallery operation through several years and many exhibition cycles. For a small, owner-run gallery, having programme, archive and sales bundled in one place — with no gap between the physical room and the online presence — was exactly the right kind of leverage.
