Messe Frankfurt is one of the world's largest trade-fair organisers — and runs a Vienna office that helps Austrian exhibitors get on board with the group's international shows: Ambiente, Heimtextil, Light+Building, Christmasworld and the rest of the calendar. That outpost needed its own website: visually aligned with Messe Frankfurt's global corporate identity, but tailored to the Austrian market in tone and content. Threading that needle was the brief.
- Front-end design carefully matched to Messe Frankfurt's existing brand guidelines
- TYPO3 as the content management system (CMS) for the Vienna editorial team
- Structured overview of the group's trade fairs with dates and industry focus
- Contact flow for Austrian exhibitors with per-event enquiry routing
- Standalone news and announcements section for AT-specific stories
- Clean separation between corporate content and the local sales presence
The result was a local outpost that slotted neatly into Messe Frankfurt's international brand world and gave Vienna-based prospects a direct line to Frankfurt, Hamburg or Tokyo without going through head office. The TYPO3 site delivered with rockit kept Messe Frankfurt's Austrian presence visible online for years; today the operation runs on a consolidated marketing stack maintained by the group itself.
